About LUMI
WHO AM I?
My name is Heta, I am Finnish and I live in Tourcoing, in the north of France. I am the creator of LUMI reflectors.
My company was born from a cultural difference. In Finland, reflectors are essential in everyday life during the dark season, and I was surprised to find that they are not as widespread everywhere. Hence the name "LUMI", which means "snow" in Finnish, evoking purity and clarity, and also echoing the French word for "light".
My objective: to bring light into the darkness and to give you and your loved ones a sense of security. Before settling in France, I was a teacher; the safety of children and young people is therefore paramount for me.
quality reflectors from Finland
We know the importance of reflectors, but we often pay little attention to them. That is why I want to design and offer reflectors that are not only easy to use, but also stylish and fun.
All my reflectors are made by a Finnish company and certified by the EU.
Why is it good to use a reflector?
We all want to keep our loved ones safe, especially near roads when it’s dark. Without reflectors, children and animals are hard to see. My reflectors make them up to seven times easier for drivers to spot: a simple way to improve safety and give you peace of mind.
REFLECTORS FOR BUSINESSES
I also offer customized reflectors for businesses. In addition to being practical and safe, they showcase your brand in a unique way.
With customizable designs featuring your logo, you will make a lasting impression while strengthening your commitment to the safety and well-being of the community.

It is often mistakenly thought that reflective elements, such as stickers or reflective clothing, are sufficient. In reality, they often lack the necessary qualities to be truly effective.
LUMI reflectors are always manufactured according to the strictest criteria to ensure optimal protection.
Not all reflectors are the same. Certification makes all the difference.
Be visible in the dark and buy reflectors in the LUMI shop or at my resellers.
Finnish innovation
Did you know that the pedestrian reflector is a Finnish invention. It was invented by Arvi Lehti, a farmer from Pertteli.
The pedestrian reflector was born when Lehti began to build a triangular reflector for his horse-drawn cart. He got the idea of gluing two vehicle reflectors together and hanging them. The pedestrian reflector was born.
Subsequently, reflectors spread in the 1950s not only in Finland, but also in other Nordic countries. In the rest of the world, however, pedestrian reflectors are still largely unknown and their use is rare.
